    Name:

    Duane Carlton Tallman, age 91, of Traverse City, formerly of Orleans and Trufant passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was born on March 23, 1924 in Orleans, Michigan, the son of Leon Stark and Lila Bernetta (Oversmith) Tallman, and spent much of his life there working as a farmer.

    He lived with his sister, Betty, in Trufant for several years and lived for the past seventeen years in Traverse City, with his sister, June. He is survived by his sisters, June and Betty and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Nevene, Winona and L. Stanley.

    Betty Lou Frandsen 88, of Sand Lake, Michigan died Sunday, July 28, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. Betty was born January 4, 1931 the daughter of Leon & Lila (Oversmith) Tallman.

    Betty loved to cook for her family and friends. She also loved spending time with family and gardening and helping around on the farm. She was always feeding her baby calf's.

    She is survived her children Bruce Frandsen, Katherine (Mark) Gebhardt, Lucinda (Bill) Helmer and Judy (Scott) Schultz; grandchildren; Cory Frandsen, Andrea (Michael) VanSetters, Austin (Amber) Frandsen, Travis (Ann) Szanto, Sabrina (Mike) Milewski, Darci Szanto, Billy (Heidi) Helmer, Jamie (Gordon) Gorby and BreAnna Schultz; great grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Teegin, Sullivan, Taelyn, Ashtynn, Vaughn and Grant; sisters in law Virginia Christensen and Shirley Frandsen; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Albert on June 23, 2019, parents Leon & Lila Tallman, great grandchild Ranger Albert Frandsen, son Larry Dean Frandsen and her siblings Stan, Dwayne, Nona, Nevine and June.

    Funeral Service will be 12 NOON Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. The family will greet friends 11 AM till the funeral on Saturday. Burial will be in Trufant Cemetery. Memorial
