ARTHUR C. SLIKER

Arthur C. Sliker, 62, of Franklin died Sunday at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Born in Ogdensburg, he lived in Newton during the 1940s and was a resident of Franklin since 1965.

Mr. Sliker was employed at the United Foam Co. in Franklin before retiring in May 1981.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Lt. Robert A. Madden Memorial Post No. 10152, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Ogdensburg. He was a former member of the V.F.W. post in Sparta.

M. Sliker is survived by his wife, Mary; three stepsons, Roy Gunderman and Donald Gunderman, both of Franklin, and Richard Gunderman, at home; one daughter, Mary Ranshaw of Franklin; one sister, Alice Predmore of Sparta, and eight step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Gable Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, with the Rev. George Hufnagel officiating.

Interment will be in North Hardyston Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
