    Chris Holder, 40, of Crossett died Wednesday, March 7, 2007. Born January 4, 1967, to Billy Joe Holder and Marsha Richards Herrick, he graduated from Crossett High School in 1985 and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and Monticello. He enjoyed the fellowship of Jersey Deer Camp and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crossett.

    Survivors include his father, Bill Holder and wife Margaret of Crossett; his mother, Marsha Herrick and husband Steve of Little Rock; his grandmother, Martial Richards of Crossett; two step-brothers, Bryan Runyan and wife Mary of Alexandria, LA, and John Runyan of Great Bend, KS; one step-sister, Annetta R. Smith and husband Jeremy of Maumelle; an aunt, Charlotte R. Miller and husband Bobby; and an uncle, John G. Richards and wife Lynn, all of Crossett. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Richards, and his grandmother, Mary Holder.

    Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, in the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Bill Williams officiating. Burial followed at the Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett. Pallbearers were Johnny Robbins, Frank Boyette, Tommy Woods, Phillip Deal, Eddie Courson, and Shane Austin.
