Wendell B. Scott, 82, of Browns, formerly of Olney, died at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 1999 in Olney Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Quentin Beard officiating. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery in West Salem. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Scott was born March 10, 1917, in West Salem, the son of John and Maude (Brant) Scott. He married Mildred Bare in Olney on October 17, 1936.

He was a retired mill foreman.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife, Mildred Scott, of Browns, three sons; Larry Scott of West Salem, Jim Scott of Olney and Bernard (Bud) Scott of Dundas; three daughters, Brenda Scott of Browns, Diana Stout of Claremont and Mary Ann Snyder of Browns; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.

Wendell married Mildred F. BARE on 17 Oct 1936 in Olney, Richland Co., Illinois. Mildred (daughter of Wilbur Leonard BARE and Bertha Lorene SCHRADER) was born on 21 Jul 1920 in Richland County, Illinois; died on 22 Mar 2000 in Browns, Edwards Co., Illinois; was buried in Moravian Cemetery, West Salem, Edwards Co., Illinois. Larry Ray Scott, 63, of West Salem died Monday June 2, 2003 at his residence.

Services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Durham officiating. Burial in Moravian Cemetery in West Salem.

Mr. Scott was born on May 8, 1940 in Olney, the son of Wendell and Mildred (Bare) Scott. He married Ann Cokley on November 24, 1960 in West Salem. She survives.

He was a loving father, brother and son. He will be missed by all who knew him. He worked for Champion Industries in West Salem as a warehouseman. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Olney.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ann Scott of West Salem; a son, Arol Scott of West Salem; three daughters, Denisa Marks and her husband, Terry of Crossville, Paula Neavelle and her husband, Dwayne of West Salem and Carrie Nesler and her husband, Adam of Browns; two brothers, Jim Scott and his wife, Sue of Olney and Bernard "Bud" Scott and his wife, Jackie of Dundas; three sisters, Brenda Scott of Olney, Diana Stout and her husband, Jim of Claremont and Mary Ann Snyder of Olney; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Donna Sue and a nephew, Jason Stout.

Brenda Sue Scott, 60, of Olney, died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Burial will be in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens in Olney.

Ms. Scott was born August 17, 1945, in Richland County, the daughter of Wendell and Mildred (Bare) Scott.
She never married.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was active in many different areas of the church. She will be sadly missed by the members of the church, family, friends, co-workers and neighbors.

Ms. Scott is survived by two brothers, James Scott and his wife, Sue, of Olney, and Bernard Scott and his wife, Jacki, of Dundas; two sisters, Diana and her husband, Jim Stout of Pontoon Beach, and Mary Ann Snyder of Olney; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell and Mildred Scott and one brother, Larry Scott.
