Elbert H. Darrow passed peacefully away after, a long illness. Mr. Darrow was born in the town of Scriba fifty-six years ago and had always resided there. In 1890 he was united in marriage with Miss Kittie Donnelly, who survives him. He was a devoted husband and father and a kind son and brother. He will be missed by all with whom he was associated. Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Emmeline Darrow; two sons. Kenneth and Charles; a nephew, Paul McKinstry, who made his home with him; two sisters, Mrs. Myrt Parkhurst, of North Scriba; three brothers, Asa and Edgar, of New Haven, and George, of North Scriba. The funeral will be held at the family home on Thursday. Burial at North Scriba.
