Age 74, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by her son, Richard J. (Kathy) Scheidt; two daughters, Patricia A. Scheidt and Barbara J. Fender; three grandsons, Andrew M. and Adam J. Scheidt and Joseph R. Fender; three brothers, Gene (Eileen) Conroy, William (Dell) Conroy and Jim (Marilyn) Conroy; two sisters, Pat Conroy and Sharon (Leonard) Ciarlette; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Scheidt; parents, James and Helen Conroy. Born in Joliet, living in Channahon as a child, returning to Joliet as an adult. Member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Georgia worked in the dietary department at Silver Cross Hospital for many years. Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Monday, June 22, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. to St. Bernard Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
