    Squire Fancher enlisted 18 Jan 1781 in Capt. Lewis' Company, Col. Crane's Westchester Co. Fourth Regiment. On 18 March 1781 he was wounded by the enemy at North Castle, having his left arm cut through the bone, two fingers cut from his right hand, and wounded in the head.

    Squire Fancher lived in Poundridge, NY, Wilton and New Canaan, Conn., and Rensselaerville, NY
