    Jeanne R. Hulett, 91, of Rockton, IL, died Sunday, June 18, 2006 in Fair Oaks Health Care Center, South Beloit, IL.
    She was born March 11, 1915 in Janesville, WI, the daughter of John W. and Gertude Huebel Hackshaw. Jeanne was a graduate of Janesville High School. She married Robert P. Hulett on October 19, 1939 in Rockford, IL. He predeceased her on November 17, 1993.
    Jeanne was employed as a beautician for Eleanor's Beauty Manor, Rock Haven, Fair Oaks Health Care Center, and Cedar Crest Health Care Center, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the Twentieth Century Club and the Rockton Historical Society. Jeanne was the past president of the Macktown golf and bridge club and the Rockton Women's Club. She was a past member of the Rockton Marathon Bridge Club, Macktown Bridge Club anbd the Rockton Garden Club. Jeanne retired after 30 years as a member of the Winnebago County Elections Board. She worked on the promotion of River Bluff Nursing Home with Dr. Orson Loomis. Jeanne traveled to foreign countries and every single state in the U.S. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, friendships, playing cards and church work. Jeanne was a member of the First Congregational Church where she was involved in the memorial committee, past deaconess, past sesquicentennial committee, past search committee, president of the Fellowship Guild and the meetinghouse quilters. She was a former member of the Wesley Willows board. Jeanne was known for maintaining friendships through correspondence and calls.
    Survivors include her niece, Cheryl (Melvin) Zeller of South Beloit, IL; great-niece and nephew, Kimberly Zeller of Beloit, WI and Sean Zeller of Albany, GA; many loving friends including, Patricia Raymer, Chris and Ken Tanner, Marg Comp, Arlene Plummer and the First Congregational Church.
    She was predeceased by her parents, grandparents, and a brother, Aubrey C. Hackshaw.
    Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2006 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, with the Reverend Michael Lerch officiating. Burial will be private in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville, WI. Visitation wll be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
    Memorials may be given to the Rockton Historical Society or the First Congregational Church Endowment Fund.
