Name |
Jethro RUSSELL [1] |
- He carried on a farm in Dartmouth. Joining the tide of immigration to Central New York state, probably about 1795, the family settled in Pittstown, Rensselaer county, and ceased to be identified with the history of Dartmouth and New Bedford, the descendants spreading to various states outside of New England. Many of them have been engaged in arming. Like his wife, Mr. Russell was a member of the Society of Friends. [1]
