Hosea Blennis, a resident of Baldwin
Place for the past 28 years, died at
his home on July 1, 1946, following
an illness of about one year. His
age was 55. He was the son of Charles
and Georgiana Head Blennis and was
born in Mt. Kisco. He had been
employed at the Baldwin Place Feed
and Coal store for several years. He
was a member of the Mahopac Falls
Baptist church. Surviving are his wife,
the former Julia Odell; two sons,
Charles and Walter; three brothers,
William of Mahopac, Hubert of Yorktown
and Eugene of Amawalk; and three sisters
Mrs. Bertha Odell of Carmel, Mrs. Doris
Odell of Chatham and Mrs. Gertrude
Shay of White Plains. Interment was in
the Ballard-Barrett cemetery, Mahopac Falls.
