A lifelong resident of the area, she was born in Mongaup Aug 31, 1902, the daughter of the late Stephen W. and Mary Hawkins Edwards. She married George Anderson, who predeceased her. She was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church, Port Jervis. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Binder of Montague; a son, John Anderson of Greenville; two sisters, Alice Burrows and Edith Henry, both of Port Jervis; a brother, George Edwards, of Port Jervis; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at the Knight Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, with the Rev Carlton J. Curtin officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Cremation will be at Cedar Hill Crematory in Newburgh. Funeral arrangements are by the Knight Auchmoody Funeral Home.
