- Born c.1663 to Nathaniel and Joan Dickens, Mrs. Dodge (nee Darkis/Dorcas Dickens) died in "the 74th year of her age". She was the widow of Tristram Dodge the younger, son and namesake of early Block Island settler Trustrum Dodge Sr., paterfamilias of the Dodge Family. Her husband had predeceased her three years earlier. The inscription on Mrs. Dodge's slate headstone (see below) identifies her as "Darkis", "ye widow of Trustrum Dodge".
