  	Abraham Britton, son of Nathaniel Britton, died before June 1, 1729, the date of his father's will. The birth of Abraham years before 1729, and the fact of his death are established. He may possibly have been born between 1690 and 1700. He would naturally have chosen to be married at the Presbyterian Church where his father and brother were acting as officials. The name, Abraham, first appeared here in the Britton family, the third generation in the line of Nathaniel. It was not used in those times by William or his progeny. Abraham's life was short - too brief to have made an auspicious record, or to have accumulated property to be administered at his death. It is evident, however, that he married and left a minor son: Nathaniel. [1]
