- Dale was son of Arthur and Edna Bare.
Dale joined the army 13 Oct 1944. In WW II he fought in Paris and was wounded in his leg in Germany.
When he got home he married his high school sweetheart,Iona Farrar on February 28,1947.
Dale and Iona had two children.
He was a very good golfer and was golf pro in Mt.Carmel,Illinois for several years. His team won the State Championship in golf in 1960. He enjoyed bowling and was considered the best athlete of the men on his team.
In 1964 he and his family moved to Florida where he continued being a golf pro.
18 Sep 1981 he Divorced Iona Bare. He remarried 08 Nov 1981 and the second wife is still living in Florida.
He died in Orlando, Florida on 16 Apr 1997 and his body was laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
