Name |
Samuel EDDY [1] |
- The Berkshire Historical Society Collections (p. 93) state that Samuel Eddy is one of those "who is recommended and received from distant places "to the Church of Christ as Cheshire. He seems to have lived in Windsor. Perhaps he went there later, but he was established there in 1777 when the Revolutionary War needed help from that section to protect Vermont. He was one of the famous company of "Silver Grays", which marched for the defense of Bennington. [1]
