H.W. Juckett Funeral Set Tomorrow

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Robert-Lantman funeral home in Poultney, Vt., for Harold W. Juckett, 62, an employee of the Pulbic Taxi C., who died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at the Amsterdam Memorial Hospital.

Rev. Lewis Brehaut of East Poultney Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Middletown Springs, Vt. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7-9.

Besides his wife, Edith Spaulding Juckett of 3209 Taylor Street, Juckett is survived by a son, Wallace S. Juckett of Schenectady; a brother Herbert Manning of Glens Falls; one granddaughter and nieces and nephews.

Harold married Edith Mae SPAULDING. Edith (daughter of Wallace SPAULDING and Lovancha GORTON) was born on 7 Oct 1903 in Middle; died on 7 Apr 1994 in Rotterdam, Schenectady Co., New York; was buried in Pleasant View Cemetery, Middletown Spring, Rutland Co., Vermont. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Rotterdam - Mrs. Edith Spaulding Juckett, 90, of Taylor Street, died Thursday at home after a long illness.

Born in Middletown Springs, Vt., Mrs. Juckett lived in the Schenectady area for the last 50 years. She was a graduate of the Castleton Normal School in Vermont and taught in that state for several years. She also was a substitute teacher in the Schenectady area.

Mrs. Juckett was a 50-year member of the Rotterdam Republican Club.

She was the widow of Harold Juckett.

Survivors include a son, Wallace Juckett of Schenectady; a grand-daughter; and a great-granddaughter.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Middletown Springs Community Church, preceded by a calling hour in the church annex. Burial will be at a later date in Pleasant View Cemetery, Middletown Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rotterdam Volunteer Emergency Medical Corps.
