David was a farmer and they first settled at Rome, New York, and later at Rodman, Jefferson Co., New York. In 1835, they were of the town of Adams, as shown by the census record of that year.

David was one of six brothers who served in the Revolutionary War.

David married Lucy WALWORTH in 1778 in Rome, Oneida Co, New York. Lucy (daughter of Nathan WALWORTH and Amy STARK) was born on 11 Dec 1759 in Groton, New London County, Connecticut; died on 9 Jul 1844 in Rome, Oneida Co., New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
