"The George Soule Family": Page 677 of a Family Bible dated 1810 owned by W.R. Bentley of Berlin NY lists the family record of "my father George Bentley mother Ruth Barber" with all the children of this marriage, including those children who died young. Those children who married have their spouses listed, but there are no dates. However, those children and their respective spouses who remained in CT are correctly identified. In the CT probate papers of Ezekiel Bentley is a document from John Barber Babcock, a nephew, "now resident of Albany Co., NY." Caleb, John, Mary and Abigail and perhaps others migrated to the Albany area of NY.

George married Ruth BARBER on 4 March 1723/4 in So. Kingstown, Rhode Island. Ruth (daughter of Moses BARBER and Susanna WEST) was born on 23 Jun 1705 in North Kingstown, Rhode Island; died on 21 Sep 1755 in Stonington, Connecticut. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
