    Terrence M. Lozaw, of Scott Road, Franklin, died suddenly Monday morning at Newburgh, N.Y. where he was employed. He reported for work that morning as beater-engineer for Little Falls Paper Co. A short tine later he complained of feeling ill. A doctor was summoned but death came suddenly. Mr. Lozaw was fifty-four years old and was a son of George and Sarah Sisco Lozaw. he is survived by his wife, Caroline H. Lockburner Lozaw, and four children, Dorothy E., Lawrence E., Edward L., and Sarah A. all at home. Also surviving are one brother David Lozaw, of Franklin; and three sisters, Sarah, wife of Richard Miller; Mary Stanaback and Nettie, wife of Emil Erickson, all of Franklin. he was a member of Samaritan Lodge, F. & A. M., Sussex, and Lotus Lodge, I.O.O.F., of Ogdensburg. masonic services were held at the home. Funeral services were held thursday aftgernoon at 2 o-clock, with Rev. H.J. Allsup, pastor of the Franklin Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in North Hardyston Cemetery.

    Caroline Lockburner Lozaw's Obit from New Jersey Herald August 5, 1954

    Franklin - Mrs. Caroline H. Lozaw of Scott Road, widow of Terrance Lozaw, died Sunday at Linn Hospital, Sussex after a long illness. She was 58. Born in Lafayette, she had lived here 35 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auziliary and a Gold Star Mother; also a member of the Hamburg Presbyterian Church Ladies Aid Society.
    She is survived by a son, Edward of Rayville, Mo; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Allen of Fresno, California and Miss Dorothy, at home. Two brothers, John D. Lockburner of Omaha, Neb., Frank Lockburner, Lafayette and four sisters, Mrs. May Sargent and Mrs. Elizabeth Pullis of Lafayette, Mrs. Meryle Sisco, Franklin and Mrs. Dorothy Connors, Passaic and one grandchild.
    Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home. 1 Main Street. harry Wilson pastor of the Hamburg Presbyterian Church officiated. Burial was in the North Hardyston Cemetery.

    FRANK LOCKBURNER - Following the opening of an abscess at the Franklin Hospital, Frank Lockburner Sr., of Lafayette Township, died Wednesday night of last week at that institution. He was sixty-one years old. The surviving relatives are his wife, who was Miss Elizabeth Cahrs, of Culvers Lake and five daughters and three sons. Mrs. Luther Sargent of Newton; Mrs. Alvin Pullis of Monroe; the Misses Carolyn, Meryl and Dorothy and Frank and Edward at home and John Lockburner, a member of the Marines. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from home. rev. Frank A. Schofield, pastor of the Lafayette Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in North Church Cemetery.

    ELIZABETH G. LOCKBURNER, a lifelong resident of Sussex County, died at her home in Lafayette on Wednesday, May 20, after being ill only a few days. She was born in Jersey City on May 26, 1864, the daughter of the late Henry and Carolyn Cahrs of Culvers Lake. Of a family of six children she is survived by one brother, Edwin J. of Culvers Lake and her eight children. John D. of Omaha, Nebraska; Edwin J. at home; Frank, and May wife of L.F. Sargent of Lafayette; Elizabeth wife of A.J. Pullis of Sussex; Meryl wife of Walter Sisco of Franklin; Dorothy wife of T.C. Conners of Passaic and Carolyn Lozaw of Franklin; also by thirty grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
    Mrs. Lockburner was well known, being a hard working industrious person always looking on the bright side of life. No task or hardship was too great for her to undertake. She was always the happiest when busy or surrounded by her family and friends. She will be sadly missed not only by her children but by the public who came in contact with her daily life. To know her was to love her.
    She was laid to rest in the family plot in the North Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, beside her late husband, Frank Lockburner, who departed this life 23 years ago.
