    Hamburg: Rachel F. Talmadge, 90 years, died on Monday October 8, 2012 at Barn Hill Care Center in Newton. Born in Hardyston Twp. she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ida (Rome) Sanders. Rachel has been a lifelong resident of Sussex County and had resided on Rudetown Road in Vernon Twp. for many years. Most recently she had resided in Sussex Boro for a few years.

    For 30 years she worked as a stock clerk at the former Morley Shirt Company in Franklin. Over the years she enjoyed the time she would spend working in her garden and caring for her lawn. She also enjoyed crocheting.

    In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband James A. Talmadge, a daughter Eileen Conklin, a son James A. Talmadge, Jr., a son in law Leon Conklin, and her companion Philip Avitable. She is survived by her daughter Ruthann Schultz of Franklin, grandchildren Glen Talmadge, Augustus Conklin and Debbie Conklin-Hall along with five great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
    Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral 10:30 am on Thursday October 11, 2012 at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main St. Franklin, NJ. Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
