Augusta Meighan born Wisconsin. Parents Edward Meighan b. Germany and Mary Josephine Lynch Meighan born Wisconsin Her parents married 16 May 1861 in Wisconsin. Later moving to Lime Springs, Howard Co., Iowa. She married Frank Vian Jan 20, 1910 probably Ward Co., ND. Frank Vian was her 1st husband. Augusta Meighan Vian was his 3rd wife.
Ray H. Vian, from below in obituary Augusta Vian was her step-son. Ray H. Vian was son from father Frank Vian 2nd wife Ida (Hanson) Schumacher.

OBITUARY
Kenmare News
Thursday April 25, 1935

Augusta Meighan was born in the state of Wisconsin, December 8, 1863. While yet a child her folks moved to Lime Spring, Iowa. When grown to young womanhood Miss Meighn went to Minneapolis to live. Later she took a homestead north of Blaisdel, North Dakota (Mountrail Co.).
Her husband passed on before her in 1926. Since that time her step-son Ray Vian has been extremely devoted to his stepmother. In 1933 they moved to Kenmare.
Mrs. Vian has not been in good health for the past several years suffering from high blood pressure and about six weeks ago she entered the hospital following a stroke and where she remained until the last when at 7:15 Monday morning, April 15, she slipped out of this life at the age of seventy-one years, five months and seven days.
She leaves to mourn her passing her step-children Ray of Kenmare, Vern of Great Falls, Montana, Mrs. Tedwell Rogne of Brook Park, Minnesota. One brother Walter and sister Dolly of Lime Spring Iowa, one brother Will of Woodland, California and two nieces.
Sincere sympathy is extended the bereaved ones.
