Maurice Berkeley married in his thirtieth year in 1465 to Isabel Meed (at that time a widow with three children who all died young), only daughter of Philip Mead, of Mead's Place in Wraxall, Somerset, Mayor of Bristol, by his wife Isabel. She was born about or after 1444, and was heiress to her brother Thomas Mead.

Isabel married Maurice BERKELEY in 1465. Maurice (son of James DE BERKELEY, Knt. and Isabel DE MOWBRAY) was born about 1435; died in Sep 1506; was buried in Austin Friars', London. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
