Daniel was a farmer, son of Joseph M. Carle and Mary Anne WARREN.
He married Rachel Ellen HELMS, December 27, 1876, Belmont County, Ohio. From this union there were four known children - Bessie Arminta, George E, Sarah Jane and Walter F.
Widowed in 1884, he married Mary Elizabeth CARLE, February 23, 1886. They had three children, Helen Mary, Bertha L. (Burd) and Herbert M.
Mary died March 13, 1908, and may also be buried at this cemetery.
She is daughter of William Ross Carle and Mariah/Mary Feeley.

Note: information on Rachel Ellen Helms- born February 21, 1846, Powhatan Point to Isaiah Helms born in Virginia and Sarah P. Goetz (sometimes spelled Gates). Rachel died February 14, 1884, Pleasant Hill.
