OLNEY DAILY MAIL OBITUARY:

Eva Lorena Hicks, 77, Route 1, Olney, died at 7:10 a.m. Sunday, April 24, 1988 in Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Burl Shinkle presiding. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today (Monday). Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Hicks was born in Edwards County Jan. 28, 1911, the daughter of William and Hanna (Lomas) Bare. She married Harry Hicks April 29, 1933, in Richland County and he preceded her in death in December, 1963.

She was a member of the Marion Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Jimmie Hicks and wife Beverly of Noble; a daughter, Mrs. Allen (Carolyn) Esders, Olney; a daughter-in-law, Willa Hicks, Olney; a brother Ralph Bare, Parkersburg; brother-in-law, Bill Hicks, Olney; sister-in-law, Sarah Margaret Bowen, West Salem; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
