    Name:
    Daniel was an Ensign and Captain of Conn. militia in the Revolutionary War under col. Samuel Whiting 1776 and turned out at the New Haven Alarm. At the age of 84, he was placed on the pension roll of Fairfield Co. 1831 for service as Ensign and Captain of Conn. Militia.

    Daniel married Lucy STARR on 23 Nov 1767. Lucy was born in 1749; died in Apr 1795. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Name:
    He settled in the Bethel Society in Danbury about 1725. He was in Danbury June 1722-1736-1741. In 1707 he chose his brother, William, as his guardian.

    "Here Lies Buried the Body of Capt. Ebenezer Hickok who departed this Life July 8th AD 1774 in the 83d Year of his Age(.) He was for many Years a Deacon in the Church of Bethel a principal Pillar in that Church and Society and an Ornament to the Christians Religion." "The memory of the Righteous is Blessed."
