In his will, made in Scituate 28 Nov 1781 he bequeathed as follows: "...To wife Elizabeth one third rents and profits of real estate, one bed and furniture with household goods suitable to keep house, one cow and also four large rooms with fuel brought to the door. To sons Simeon and Thomas certain land. To daughter Susannah, furniture and a cow..."
