    Notes:

Excerpt from "Mayflower Families in Progress - Francis Cooke": Thomas Mitchell mar. (1) Maria Tromdin and mar. (2) in Amsterdam, Holland shortly after 15 April 1606 margrite Williams of Leyden,Widow of Christoffel Stochin. He was living in Leyden, Holland 15 Aug. 1622 when he made an affidavit. It seems very likely he is the father of Experience. If Experience was born after 1606, Margaret is prob. his mother. the 24 July 1662 letter of Thomas Mitchell of Amsterdam to his uncle Experience Mitchell is further proof of the relationship.

Experience also had children Sarah, Jacob, Edward, John and Hannah, but there is not proof which wife was their mother. Hannah was born too late to be Jane's child, so must be by Mary. As only Thomas shared in the Cooke Land, doubt is cast on the rest of the children, except Elizabeth who must have been the eldest child as she married in 1645 and Mary who was born so early she must be Jane's daughter. There appears to be a significant gap after Mary suggesting the rest are not Jane's children.

Experience married Jane COOKE after 22 May 1627 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Jane (daughter of Francis COOKE and Hester MAHIEU) was born before 1613 in Holland; died before 1650 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
