    J.B. Was Born In Plaucheville, Louisiana On September 15, 1922. After Graduating From High School, He Joined The C.C. Corp. He Then Joined The Navy Where He Served For Four Years In The South Pacific During World War Ii.
    He Received His Bachelor Of Science Degree From S.L.I. In 1949 And His Master's Degree From Stephen F. Austin In 1954. He Started His Professional Career As A Teacher And Coach At Pelican High School From 1949-1955. He Was Named Associate Dean Of Men At U.S.L. In 1955 Where He Remained Until He Retired In 1972.
    After Retiring From U.S.L., He Was Appointed State Director Of Drug Education; Executive Director Of The Southwest Louisiana Rehab Center; Southwest Regional Director Of Easter Seal Society; Executive Director Of The Alleman Center And Was Elected To The Lafayette Parish School Board Where He Served For 10 Years. His Varied Community Service Includes: State Chairman, Governor's Advisory Council; Member, State Department Of Education Drug Advisory Council; Past General Chairman, Evangeline Area Scout-A-Rama; Past President, Adult Chapter Of The Fellowship Of Christian Athletes; Past President, Lafayette Kiwanis Club; Committee Chairman, United Givers Fund; Recipient 'Kiwanian Of The Year' Award; Recipient 'International Circle Of Service Award'; Member Kiwanis International Committee; Past Lt. Governor, Division 7, Kiwanis; Appointed To Fireman And Police Civil Service Board; Chairman Of The Mayor's Committee To Employ The Handicapped; Member, Governor's Committee For The Handicapped; Member, Board Of Director's Of A.I.D.E.     He Was Preceded In Death By His Parents, Joseph B. And Gertrude Jeansonne Guillory; Two Sisters, Ila St. Romain And Ola Mayo; And Five Brothers, Burt, Milford, Everett, Fred, And U.J. Guillory.
    Funeral Services Will Be Held At A 10:00 Am Mass Of Christian Burial Thursday, November 17, 2005 In The Delhomme Chapel Of The Flowers.
    Interment Will Take Place At Fountain Memorial Gardens. Rev. Buddy Breaux, Associate Pastor Of St. Joseph Catholic Church In Rayne, Will Be Celebrant Of The Mass And Conduct The Funeral Services.
