    John Bourne was Constable of Marshfield in 1651, and was admitted freeman of Plymouth Colony, June 1651. He was nominated to take up the Excise for Marshfield, June 1664, and served the town as Deputy, June 1666, and June 1667. He was Selectman, 1679, 1680, 1682, 1683, and 1684, and was Magistrate at Marshfield, 1682.

    John married Alice BESBEDGE on 18 Jul 1645 in Marshfield, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts. Alice was christened on 29 Jun 1624 in Frittenden, Kent; died on 7 May 1686 in Marshfield, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
