Families of Early Guilford, Connecticut, vol. 1, list the wife of Jared Elliot as being Hannah Smithson.

Not sure which is correct.

Jared married Hannah SMITHSON on 26 Oct 1710. Hannah was born in 1693; died on 17 Feb 1761 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., Connecticut. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. Col. John ELLIOT was born on 2 Dec 1732 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut; died on 9 Mar 1797 in Guilford, New Haven County, Connecticut.

Joseph married Mary WYLLYS in 1684/5. Mary (daughter of Samuel WYLLYS and Ruth HAYNES) was born in 1656 in Hartford, Hartford County,Connecticut; died on 11 Oct 1789. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
