    Earl G. Bonar

    Funeral services for Earl G. Bonar, prominent 60 year-old farmer of Route One, Powhatan were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock from the late residence. Burial was in the Powhatan Cemetery. Mr. Bonar died about five o'clock Saturday evening, October 3, (1954), when he suffered an acute heart attack when stung by a yellow jacket while driving his car near Bethesda. A native of the community, he was a son of the late Amos and Charlotte Schnegg Bonar. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Estella Fraley Bonar; one son, Vernon Bonar of Shadyside; one daughter, Mrs. Amos Caldwell, of West Bellaire; one brother, George Bonar, of Powhatan, Route One; one sister, Mrs. Eva Walter, of Powhatan, Route One, and two grandchildren.
