    Notes:

    Excerpt from "connecticut Puritan Settlers": While Silas continued at Wethersfield, he was highly respected and employed in public business. He sold his estate, and expected to remove with his family to Canaan, Conn., in the spring of 1741, where he purchased a large tract of land. He also purchased lands in Dutchess county, New York, and Berkshire county, Mass., for the purposes of setling his children on his new lands. In the autumn of 1741, he returned to Wethersfield, to close his concers there, and remove his family to Canaan. He was seized with a malignant dysentery, while a Wethesfield, and died.

    Silas married Abigail ROBBINS on 30 Nov 1716. Abigail was born about 1697 in Wethersfield, Hartford, Connecticut, USA; died on 16 Feb 1783 in Dutchess, New York. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
