  	FRANCES UNDERWOOD Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Underwood, 76, a former Broadway actress who began her career in 1904, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Luke O'Connor & Sons Mortuary, 931 Venice Blvd. Burial will follow at Inglewood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Underwood died Friday at her home, 159 S Reeves dr., Beverly Hills. She was a native of Los angeles and had lived in Beverly Hills 20 years. The former actress had several parts in films as recently as 1940. Mrs. Underwood leaves a brother, Anson Slosson. LA Times April 23, 1961 [1]
