      Allen Irving Face
      ALBION -- ALlen Irving Face, an erection engineer for bakery equipment at Union Steel Products Co., died unexpectedly on the way to the hospital after suffering a heart attack at 2 p.m. Tuesday at his home, 109 E. Pine St.

      He was born May 9, 1920, in Marengo Township, son of Fred B. and Beatrice (Mast) Face. He attended the South Brick School and Marshall High School before he started work as a setup man at Union Steel Products Co. in January, 1940.

      On March 12, 1942, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps as a propeller specialist, serving in Africa, India, Burma and in the South Pacific. He was honorably discharged as a corporal on Feb. 26, 1946.

      Mr. Face returned to Union Steel, and since 1959 had been a service and installation engineer working throughou the United States.

      On Feb. 14, 1946, he was married to Mary Elziabeth Kleist. She died May 8, 1948. On March 20, 1965, he was married to Mrs. Evelyn Wyble in Philadelphia, Pa.

      Surviving are his wife; a son, Ronnie Allen Face of Marshall; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred B. Face of Marshall; three step-children, Lt. Xelle Wyble Jr., USA, stationed at Ft. Hood, Tex., Aaaron and Lucinda Wyble, both at home; two brothers, Leroy Face of Albion and Rolland Face of St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Zull of Battle Creek and Mrs. Jack (Donna) Stout of Marshall.
