  	Myrtle L. Mackerley, 91, of Hamburg, passed away surrounded by her children Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Newton Medical Center. Born Sept. 5, 1922, to the late David and Bertha Skellenger, Myrtle was a lifelong resident of Hamburg. She was devoted to her family, and enjoyed the time she spent with all her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a strong, loving, caring woman. She was a die-hard New York Yankees fan. Myrtle was predeceased by her husband, Boyd J. Mackerley Sr.; her grandson, Michael Lee Mackerley; her granddaughter, Leslie Lynn Richline; and her nine siblings. She is survived by her sons, Boyd J. Mackerley Jr. and Fredrick Mackerley, of Hamburg; her daughters, Joyce Oquendo, of Bethlehem Pa., Laura Richline, Robin Haring, Charlene Johnson (Robert), Dorothy Kays (Gary), of Hamburg, and Arlene Current (Wayde), of Greeley, Pa. She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, with funeral services at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Sparta Cemetery.
