- Robert Mauleverer, is the second son of William Mauleverer, Knt., of Wothersome and Arncliffe, West Riding, co. York, by Jane, daughter of John Conyers, Knt., of Sockburn. They had four sons and two daughters. He was heir male to his brother, Sir William Mauleverer. In 1536 he was on a grand jury to ry the prisoners from 'the Pilgrimage of Grace'. [1]
