      HORACE ELLERA GIBSON
      OREGON CITY (Special) -- Ellera Horace Gibson, 90, late of 176 Davis Road, Oregon City, died Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Irene Wickham, following a sudden illness.

      Mr. Gibson was a retired farmer and was born September 10, 1869 at Medford, Minnesota. He had lived in Oregon for more than 40 years.

      Survivors include a son and four daughters, George Gibson and Mrs. Clara Martin, both of Redmond; Mrs. Jane Evans, Reedsport; Mrs. Irene Wickham, Oregon City; Mrs. Sarah Landis, Colton; a brother, George Gibson, Salem; 24 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

      The Rev. Clair Harris will officiate at the 10:30 A.M. service Thursday at the Hillside Chapel. Internment will follow at the Redland Cemetery.
