To wife Mercy all household goods and ye old end of the house to dwell in during her life. to son Isiah 500 pounds in bills of credit of R.I. To son Malichi 500 pounds and my silver headed cane. To daughter Lydia 80 pounds old tenor. To Kezia, my daughter, 50 pounds. To daughter Eunice 50 pounds...." According to the witnesses, he lived on the west road on or near the Edward Newton place or Brimstone Hill. [1]
