- His will, recorded Little Compton Probate book 3, page 213, made 6 Sept. 1789 and proved 7 June 1791: "...To Elizabeth my wife all south end of my dwelling house I now live in with privilege in the milk room...To son Silvanus all that lot of land that I bought of David Taylor with the buildings thereon. To son Clark the north part of my homestead farm bounded north by William Wilbur, east o the highway, south on the little meadow, west on wall and sea. To son Anthony south part of homestead farm bounded east by the highway, south by Pardon Gray, west on he sea and north on the land I gave my son Clark. To two sons Clark and Anthony all notes of hand, they to be executors..."
The place he gave his son Anthony became known as Onegan and was the south part of the farm owned by Isaac C. Wilbour in 1890. The farm he gave his son Silvanus was owned in 1890 by George L. Burgess, at the east of Taylor's Lane and east of the west road. [1]
