Wedding Bells
Marriage of George E. Slawson and Miss Bessie Williams.
At seven o'clock last evening a quiet wedding was solemnized at the home of the groom, 165 South Main street, the contracting parties being Mr. George E. Slawson and Miss Bessie Williams; the Rev. E. L. Eaton, pastor of the Court street church, officiating.
Only a few invited friends were present. The young couple were the recipients of many congratulations of friends, and after a rich supper had been served, the company broke up.
The groom is a barber, running a shop on South Main Street, and is a young man of sterling qualities. The bride has been until recently employed in the Chicago store as a sales lady.
