- Frank Berry, a veteran of the World War, died last Thursday at his home at Beaver Lake from a hemorrhage, a result of being gassed while in the service. He was twenty-nine years old and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Berry. He is survived by his wife, one, child, two brothers, Harry Berry of Hamburg and William Berry, of Beaver Lake, and one sister, Mrs. Lulu Sisco, of Stockholm. He was employed by the Consumers Coal & Ice Company at Beaver Lake. Funeral services were held Monday at the Franklin Presbyterian Church, Rev. Herbert Allsup officiating. Washington Camp No. 52, P. O. S, of A., of Stockholm, of which he was a member, attended in a body. Military honors were accorded at the burial in North Church Cemetery by Sgt. Glynn Post, American legion, to which he belongs.
