- He was sergeant, 1775; second lieutenant, 1776; first lieutenant, Jedediah Huntington's regiment, 1777 (Conn. Men in the Rev'n, 78, 99, 146). He was later made a captain of Militia. He was in the siege of Boston; in the battles of Long Island, White Plains, Germantown, and Peekskill; and was in camp at Valley Forge. He was an armorer. He settled in Colerain, Mass., after the Revolution. He was a congressman in Jefferson's administration. [1]
