- Eugene Huffstutler, 31, who lived south of the city in the Hardy Springs vicinity, died around 7 o'clock this morning in a local hospital. He had been ill only a short time. Mr. Huffstutler had been employed at the T. H. Rogers Lumber company for eight years. He was born and raised here, attending both grammar and high school in this city. Mr. Huffstutler was a graduate of the M.H.S. class of 1929. He was prominent in Roundup club activities. Survivors include his widow; two children, Shirley Beth Huffstutler and Ronald Gene Huffstutler; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Huffstutler; two sisters, Mrs. Rex Bennett of McAlester, and Mrs. Hazel Old of Weatherford. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Humphrey chapel, with Dr. Auguie Henry officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Hall; Bob Kennedy, Norman Clanton, Ray Henson, Burl Self and Murl Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Alva Cable, Troy Leslie, George Worsham, Doyle Green, Cornish Garner, L. G. Murray and Charles Jones.
