George Wayne Hooks, 49, a disabled veteran of Carrollton, died April 23, 1990 near Carrollton.
Graveside services were held at Evergreen Cemetery at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, with the Rev. Tommy Clark, Rev. Norris Corley and Rev. Kevin Simmons officiating.
Mr. Hooks is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Ann Hooks of Carrollton; his mother, Mrs. Mary Hooks of Carrollton; three daughters, Mrs. Michie Linn Rozier of Carrollton, Miss Melanie Hooks of Greenwood and Miss Marianne Hooks of Greenwood.
Pallbearers were Gene Hooks, John Hooks, Ben Eddie Andrews, Bruce Heath, P. W. James and Carl Brewer.
Memorials may be made to McCarley Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
