    A newspaper clipping from The New Jersey Herald (July 10, 1958) states that Carlton died from an automobile accident near Chicago. Survivors include his wife, Catherine, his mother Mrs. Ida Hucker, formerly of Franklin, who made her home with him, and a sister, Mrs. Alma Isenberg, of Gary Indiana.
