    Notes:

    Name:
    George Wolcott came with his parents from England. He was made a freeman by the General Court of Connecticut, May 21, 1657, and settled in Wethersfield. His history is more obscure than that of his brothers. The names of his children are given in the Family Chronology but none of their descendants. We learn from this that he m. Elizabeth Treat, and d. at Wethersfield, Feb. 12, 1662. and from the Probate Records that the Christian name of his wife was Elizabeth.

    George married Elizabeth TREAT before 1650. Elizabeth (daughter of Hon. Richard TREAT and Alice GAYLARD) was born in 1627 in Pittminster, Somerset, England; was christened on 25 Jul 1627 in Pitminster, Somerset, England; died after 1662 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut.
