OBITUARY: Funeral Services for Mrs. Frank Barden, 75, 1316 Torney Ave., Wausau, who died Monday, were held thursday at Peterson Funeral Home, and St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. the Rev. Valerie Pearce, O.F.M., Capuchin, St. Anthony's Monastery, Marathon was the celebrant. The Revs. thomas Schmidt, O.F.M., Capuchin, also of Marathon and william Nikolai, pastor of St. James Catholic Church, Wausau, were the concelebrants. Pallbearers were Dr. E.A. Vigneau, Donald Francken, Michael Simonar and Lloyd Thompson." Survivors, husband, 4 sons Eugene of Madison, Patrick of Elkhorn, Thomas of Wausau, James of Waukesha, daughter Margaret Strachota of 706 Broadway, brother William and sister Olive, both of Wausau, and 15 grandchildren.

Frank was born on 1 Jul 1894 in Wausau, Marathon, WI, died on 8 May 1985 in Wausau,WI at age 90, and was buried about 11 May 1985 in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Wausau, Marathon, WI. They had six children: Eugene Francis, John Joseph "Jack", Margaret Mary Ellen, Patrick Dennis, Thomas Joseph, and James Joseph.
