I believe that Bessie May Bickel is the 2nd wife of Harry C. Hucker. The marriage certificate states that Harry C. Hucker married MRS. Bessie Schafer on 27 Jan 1916. After some research, I found a Bessie May Bickel had married a John F. Schafer, son of Martha J. All, on 29 Sep 1904. Have been unable to locate either in the 1910 census.

If the "Alexander Family Tree" on Ancestry.com is correct, then John Frederik Schaffer died in 1937 in Jackson, Michigan. He is the son of Johann Martin Schaffer and Martha J. All. This leads me to believe that John Schaffer and Bessie May Bickel had divorced sometime before 1916.

Harry Hucker is listed as being widowed in the 1920 census for Gary, Lake Co. Indiana. This leads me to believe that Bessie May Bickel Schaffer Hucker had died before then. Have been unable to locate a death record.

Bessie married Harry Crossman HUCKER on 27 Jan 1916 in Chicago, Cook co., Illinois, and was divorced in 1917. Harry (son of Henry HUCKER and Elizabeth Jane STEPHENS) was born on 01 Mar 1870 in Devonshire, England; died on 08 Jul 1941 in Gary, Lake, Indiana, USA; was buried in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merriville, Indiana.
