    Name:
Eveline Hinds was born to William C. Bryan and Beulah Williams Bryan on June 5, 1917 at Gray, Oklahoma. She passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Lancaster Manor in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 94 years.

Eveline graduated from Perryton, Texas High School on 1935. She then went one year to PAMC (Panhandle Agriculture and Mechanical College) in Goodwell, Oklahoma.

She married Marshal Ray Hinds in Perryton on September 5, 1936. She then served in the ministry as support and encourager to her husband in both the United Methodist and United Church Of Christ (Congregational) conferences. They served churches in Copland, Kansas, Keensburg and Lyons, Colorado, Creston and Nashua, Iowa, Madrid, Palisade, Auburn, Geneva and Alexandria in Nebraska. Each church was very special to Eveline, but the most unique parish they served was the original Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. It was there that she and Marshal bought and operated the Stagecoach Restaurant and she taught herself photography. She opened the highly successful Wildwood Studios and won many state and national awards with her photographs.

Upon retirement, Marshal and Eveline moved to Geneva, Nebraska where Marshal served the Geneva UCC Church as Interim for two years. In all the churches Eveline sang in the choir and was often requested for solos at special events. Eveline was very proficient at helping her husband restore Model A's and together they also built a conversion van. On the golf course she was a force to be reckoned with. She was also passionate about her grand and great grand children, displaying their pictures. She had a passion for shoes of all kinds and was renown for her shoe collections. In her later years she was often asked to give either a "Shoe program" or a "Little Brown Church" program. Her unselfishness, compassion, and zest for life continue to inspire and encourage her loved ones and friend.

Eveline was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Marshal R. Hinds. She is survived by her children Don Hinds and wife Jan; Sarah and husband Wendell Fairbanks; Rev. Nita Hinds-Park and husband Dennis Park.. Also by 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
