    She was murdered by savage Indians on 22 July 1710....
    Hannah was captured by Indians in 1677, six months after her second marriage, and carried off to Canada. She was released and returned home. Her daughter Captivity was born soon thereafter. In 1690 the family moved to Brookfield. In one of the Indian surprise attacks thatwere very common then, her husband and five others were killed in July 1710 while haying.

    Hannah married Samuel GILLETT on 23 Sep 1668 in Hadley, Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Samuel (son of Jonathan GILLETT and Mary DOLBIAR) was born between 22 Jan 1642 and 1643 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut, USA; died on 19 May 1676 in Murdered by Indians at Turner's Falls.
